SAP PP
Super user for six departments on a live production line.
6departments supported
450 → 540units packed a day (export packing)
Day to day
Central MRP runs sat with the planning function; my job was to read the outputs, check component availability and turn them into production decisions.
- SAP PP super user for six departments: the person they came to when an order, BOM or routing didn’t behave.
- Read MRP output in MD04, checked component availability and converted planned orders into production orders.
- Released, changed and confirmed production orders, and ran monthly production closing.
- Created work centres and maintained BOMs, routings and production versions.
- Prepared and reviewed planning master data for the move from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

Smaller fixes
- Implemented MRP for paint, welding wire and aluminium sheet, correcting inflated BOM usage rates.
- Moved non-conforming stock to QI or Blocked so shortage figures counted usable supply only.
Planning should turn complexity into action.
